Ceramics 2

Enrolling in this half-year course gives you a continuation of Ceramics 1.  You will use the skills learned in that course to develop more complex pieces, ranging from sculptural to functional.  Content of the course deals with planning for your piece, quality construction, and focusing on aesthetics and finishing pieces with a high degree of craftsmanship.

You will also learn how to throw on the wheel, giving you the opportunity to create a series of related works.

Prerequisites:  Ceramics 1

Open to Grades: 9-12

Credit: 1/2 (half year)
